Betty Lou’s Review

08 Mar

Betty Lou’s “Just Great Stuff” product line consists of healthy products that taste good and make you feel good when you eat them! I was sent a few different items to try and some of them were extremely great and some of them just didn’t do it for me, but that’s okay, because at least I tried something new and I love trying new foods. ImageLet’s start with the Just Great Stuff bars. These weren’t my favorite. They come in:

  • Organic Superberry Acai
  • Organic Fruit and Veggie Bar

  • Organic Chocolate Dream Greens

  • Organic Cacao Acai Bar

I tried the Organic Fruit and Vegetable bar and it just didn’t taste right to me. The fruits included are: Dates, Raisins, and Bananas, and the Veggies included are: Carrot, Kale, Spinach, and Broccoli Sprouts.  Don’t get me wrong I am a huge fan of Fruits and Veggies, just not a huge fan of having them incorporated into a bar. On the plus side. they are Organic Certified, Gluten Free and Vegan.

ImageI told myself hardly any sugar or Soda for the next month or so, but I had to try a piece of each of these Angell Candy Bars. They were very tasty. Organic bars are tasty, and having a bite here or there won’t kill me 🙂  The Dark Angell Bar has rich cocoa and an almond center and is a vegan bar. The Angell Crisp Bar is milk chocolate with a crispy, creamy chocolate center. The Snow Angell Bar is white chocolate, with a sweet coconut center. It’s crazy, I’m not a fan of coconut really, but the Snow Angell bar was my favorite! I love white chocolate.

ImageThere are a bunch of Nut Balls to choose from on their website, and I was given two of them to try. I haven’t had the chance to try them yet, but they do look tasty .The plus side for me for these is that they have 15 grams of protein and I always need protein. You can go and get the other flavors which include:

  1. High Protein Almond Butter Ball
  2. Almond Butter Ball
  3. Peanut Butter Ball
  4. Cashew Pecan Ball
  5. Spirulina Ginseng Ball

  6. Coconut Macadamia Ball

I would love to try #5 as I’ve never heard of that before.

ImageThe fruit bars were by far my favorite items to try in the box. I had one each morning for breakfast and almost want to go and buy some more because they were THAT good. The only thing I would have to watch out for is the high count of carbs, but having this as a breakfast with a piece of fruit would be alright for me.

I also received Peanut Butter spreads and some protein rice mix. I have yet to try these, but I can only imagine that they’d be Just as Great as everything else.

Betty Lou’s products are (depending on what you eat): Organic Certified, Corn Free, Dairy Free,  Glucose Management, Fiber, Low Fat, Vegan, Soy Free, and many more good characteristics.

You can check them out at their website.– The website is very inviting. The background changes colors all the time, and they have great information and the products are colorful, you should definitely take a look.
